For schools
Make your school information easier for families to trust
WikiSchools turns public UDISE+ records into clear school profiles. Schools can help us keep contact details and fees current, while our rankings, reviews and editorial decisions remain independent.
Correct
Report a wrong official field or submit current school contact details.
Verify
Prove that an authorised representative is connected to the listing.
Measure
Receive a plain report of Google visibility, parent actions and anonymous admission interest.
Founding-school pilot
We are preparing a small pilot with 15–20 private schools. The pilot is for learning what is genuinely useful before we set a price or build a large sales product. Participation in the research phase is free and creates no obligation to buy anything.
Each pilot school can receive:
- a human-verified representative claim;
- a check of its published contact information and fee provenance;
- a monthly report of profile views and Google search visibility;
- anonymous counts of directions, contact, nearby-school, ranking and review actions;
- anonymous counts of parents interested in admission, without parent contact details;
- reviewed parent enquiries after the school joins the verified enquiry pilot;
- a short feedback session to shape any future paid service.
What payment never changes
- No paid position in rankings or school lists.
- No removal or editing of critical reviews because a school pays.
- No replacement of official UDISE+ facts with marketing claims.
- No sale of a parent’s identity or browsing history.
Verified admission-enquiry pilot
Most school profiles record only anonymous interest. A small set of verified pilot schools can receive a reviewed personal enquiry after the parent clearly agrees to share it with that named school. The form asks for a parent or guardian name, phone or email and class sought; it does not ask for a child’s name or sensitive information.
How verification works
- Start from the school’s own WikiSchools profile.
- Give a work email and choose an independent verification method.
- We check an official email domain, published office number, or board/trust record.
- A person records the evidence and decision. Approved claims expire after one year.
A verified claim confirms the representative’s connection to the school. It does not automatically publish changes or give direct editing access.
Pilot claims are not open yet
We are first measuring search visibility and interviewing schools. You can still send official details or report an error from any school profile.
